Fresh off a live BumRap performance featuring the return of Maxilla’s sole sound provider, Aeon Grey, Asphate & TouchNice are set to appear this Saturday live at The Bash, brought to you by the Des Moines Social Club, and featuring a number of other quality acts. Catch the crew late night, set to bring in the new year with a bangin’ show, and a hell of a time, at the DMSC, downtown Des Moines.

The Gist:

Composed of producer Aeon Grey, word-pusher Asphate Woodhavet, and Dj TouchNice, Maxilla Blue materialized from a bluish tinged gaseous substance somewhere between here and there in the year of 2006, engulfing minds and contorting bodies during the spontaneous formation. The sound, native to Des Moines, IA, speaks for itself and is not to be explained, but experienced. Hailing from a land of talking rocks, posing pebbles, and psychological dirt, Maxilla Blue has been left to develop their own interpretation of hip hop and what it should be, and invites all spectators to follow suit.
